The challenge
COI's mHack asked students to build an MVP that could become part of mObywatel, Poland's official citizen app, using open public data. Consumers rarely know whether a product has been flagged as dangerous, and filing a warranty complaint still means paperwork most people give up on.
What we built
Our app checks a product against UOKiK's public registers of dangerous and non-compliant goods and shows the result right away. If something is wrong, a guided wizard collects the details and photos, an AI model summarises the issue, and the backend generates a ready-to-send complaint document and emails it — turning a chore into a few taps.
